Empowering Communication
Neurodiversity-Affirming Care
We celebrate the unique strengths of every individual. Our goal is not to “fix,” but to empower and honor each person’s natural communication style.
Client-Centered & Play-Based
Therapy is built around your or your child’s interests and goals. For children, sessions feel like play. For adults, therapy is functional, meaningful, and connected to real life.
Family & Client Empowerment
We work collaboratively, helping families and clients gain the tools and confidence to support communication beyond sessions.
Evidence-Based & Practical
We combine the latest research and approaches—like Hanen, PROMPT, and Gestalt Language Processing (GLP)—with strategies that work in everyday situations.
The Hearts and Minds Behind SpeechBurst
Preet Shah,
Hello! I’m Preet Shah, founder of SpeechBurst, M.Sc., Speech-Language Pathologist.
Since earning my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology in 2016, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people connect through communication. My journey began with a passion for pediatrics — helping children find their voice through play, joy, and connection. Over time, I’ve expanded my practice to support adults as well, from professionals seeking voice care to those recovering communication skills after stroke or brain injury.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe therapy should be natural, empowering, and relevant to real life. My approach combines compassion with science, drawing on evidence-based programs such as Hanen (It Takes Two to Talk, More Than Words), PROMPT Therapy, and Gestalt Language Processing (GLP). Every session is designed to build confidence — not just communication skills — so that every voice can be heard, valued, and celebrated.
My philosophy
Therapy should feel natural, empowering, and relevant — building confidence, not just skills.
Expanding the Vision
Over the years, I’ve broadened my practice to support adults as well — from professionals seeking to refine their voice and communication skills, to individuals rebuilding speech after a stroke or brain injury. What continues to inspire me is watching therapy create real change — not just in clinical settings, but in homes, classrooms, and workplaces every day.
