Allyssa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Speech Sciences from the University of British Columbia. She has three years of combined experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant and Behaviour Interventionist with experience working with people of various ages and communication requirements, including children aged 2-18 with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Apraxia, Down Syndrome and various articulation challenges. She has also worked as a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant with adults with aphasia. Always seen with a positive attitude and a huge smile on her face, she is passionately committed to assisting people with diverse abilities in realising their utmost potential. She plans to pursue further studies in Speech-Language Pathology at UBC in the future.
