Our Founder

Preet Shah,

Hello! I’m Preet Shah, a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist and the heart behind SpeechBurst. Since earning my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology in 2016, I’ve been passionate about helping people of all ages connect through communication. I started with children, helping them find their voice through play, joy, and connection, and over time, my work has grown to include adults — from professionals refining their voices to individuals rebuilding speech after stroke or brain injury. Helping every individual communicate confidently is what drives everything we do at SpeechBurst.

My Approach to Therapy

I believe therapy should feel natural, empowering, and meaningful, building confidence alongside communication skills. My approach blends compassion with practical strategies and draws on programs such as Hanen (It Takes Two to Talk, More Than Words), PROMPT Therapy, and Natural Language Acquisition (NLA). At SpeechBurst, therapy happens where it matters most — in your home, classroom, workplace, or daily routines.

SpeechBurst is built on collaboration and care. Our team of Speech-Language Pathologists, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, Occupational Therapists, and Behaviour Therapists works together to bring therapy directly into your life.
